The states and territories have re-confirmed that after five years of development and consultation, from 1 July 2015 all existing accredited assessors will be required to upgrade their skills to the Certificate IV in NatHERS Assessment.

Free training is currently available for accredited assessors on the new default windows.

1 July 2015 transitional arrangements

AccuRate   - new version fully accredited from 1 November 2014, no other version can be used for new projects.

The National Administrator has accredited Accurate Sustainability Version 2.3.3.13 for use under NatHERS from 1 November 2014.

Previous versions of Accurate and Accurate Sustainability are no longer accredited.

Technical Note 1.2 is for use with software using Chenath engine V3.13 only.

NatHERS Accreditation of Software Tools

The National Administrator would like to provide an update on the accreditation progress with the three current NatHERS accredited software tools.

A revised and updated Protocol for Assessor Accrediting Organisations has been released.

The NatHERS Benchmark study engaged 344 NatHERS assessors who volunteered to assess one of four randomly-selected house plans in their chosen NatHERS software tool.
