On 15 August 2016, the NatHERS Governance and Operational Review was published on the NatHERS website, with comments sought on the Energy Efficiency Advisory Team (EEAT) possible response to its recommendations.
As part of measure 31 of the National Energy Productivity Plan (NEPP), a scoping study has been undertaken looking at advancing the National Construction Code. Focuses of the study include using real world data and whole of house performance requirements.
In response to stakeholder feedback we have recently finalised a new video explaining the NatHERS Certificate. The short video aims to introduce the Certificate and point out some key features on the Certificate to a range of stakeholders.
The NatHERS website has been updated, including major changes to the content and structure. The changes are designed to make NatHERS information more accessible for a range of stakeholder groups.
Energy Inspection has been granted accreditation for BERS Pro v4.3.0.1 (3.13), conditional on Energy Inspection’s resolution of some issues with the software, which do not affect its functionality.
Revisions have been made to the transitional arrangements allowing eligible assessors to maintain their NatHERS accreditation, while attaining a Certificate IV in NatHERS Assessment qualification.
